Teens
What is a Teen Read? Who is a Young Adult (YA) patron?

If you find yourself in the southwest corner of the Sandwich Public Library you will find the Teen Reads area – books, magazines, manga/anime, non-fiction, music, typical library pickings – and more dedicated to the Teen Reader’s interests. If you are between the ages of 12 –18 years then YOU are considered a YA patron, a.k.a. Teen Reader. The Teen Reads Area currently has two computers dedicated for YA patrons.

POET SPEAK 2012....Exciting news! The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod has approved a grant proposal to enhance this year's teen poetry slam aka POET SPEAK 2012. Cape poet Christine Rathbun will present a free workshop for interested teen poets in the new year who'd like to sharpen their poetry and poetry presentations to compete in the growing number of poetry slams for teens, especially our own and the Cape Cod Cultural Centers Grand Slam in April. We are very honored to receive this grant and KNOW y'all come out to support your teen poet when the time comes. Yea!
