Loan Periods
The following are the loan periods for Sandwich items. Items borrowed from other libraries are subject to the lending library’s loan periods and fines. Items from other libraries may be due on a day when Sandwich is closed. If returned to Sandwich on the date the item is due, and the library is closed, you will incur a late fee. Loan Periods and Renewals
- DVD/Video: 7 days, no renewals.
- Most non-fiction DVD’s: 14-day loan, no renewals.
- Book/Magazine/Audio: 14 day loan, 2 renewals, unless another patron has requested the item.

Fines
Sandwich Library's overdue fines:
- DVD/Video/Museum Passes………$1.00 per day/item
- Book/Magazine/Audio Item……….$0.02 per day/item
- Rosetta Stone Language CD’s……..$1.00 per day
- Home Energy Detective Kit ..... $5.00 per day
Book & Video Drop Returns
The library offers a book drop to allow patrons to return items when the library is closed. Library materials returned in the drop will be checked in the next day that the library is open. To avoid fines, return your items to the library before the library closes on the due date.
Remote Drop Box
Library materials may be returned to the Forestdale drop box near Stop & Shop in Sandwich Commons on Quaker Meetinghouse Road.
